The USC Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies brings together all of the marine and environmental sciences at the University of Southern California. The jewel in the crown is the unique marine lab on Catalina Island, the Philip K. Wrigley Marine Science Center. Some of our programs are entirely focussed on the marine lab and Catalina Island, some on our mainland campus activities and many are a mix of the two. For every activity we conduct, we look for how Catalina Island provides a unique opportunity for us to make or programs better, more distinctive and more attractive.
The Environmental Science and Business Risk program is both an academic and research program within the USC Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies. In the broadest sense, we study environment-related risk within the complex business environment. We are working to create a risk analysis framework that provides a living link between advances in science and the decision process in business.
